On MySpace whether you are
an establish artist looking to expand your fan base, an independent
looking to get establish and let others know about you and your music,
or simply a fan with a site to help promote your favorite artist, the
goal is all the same: to get people to your site to listen to your
music. For the Christian music artist the purpose of your music is to
glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The music you provide gives
your Christian siblings an alternative to secular music that often is
aimed at arousing the desires of the sinful nature.
The MySpace Christian Music Group has been put together to help you
achieve both your goal and purpose in being a MySpace Christian artist.
Scripture tells us that we are all members of the Body of Christ. [1
Corinthians 12:27 1 Corinthians 12:12 see also Romans 7:4 ]. Since we
all are members of the body of Christ, the MySpace Christian Music
Group is a group effort and it behooves us to act in unison to achieve
the common goal of glorifying our Lord and Savior.
When compared to other forum structure outside of MySpace, it is
apparent that the MySpace group forum lacks many of the structural
features that web surfers have come to know. Most non-MySpace forums
are structured by Categories, Topics, Posting in response to the
topics, and Replies to posting. Such a structure makes it easy to
search and find topics of interest. The MySpace group forums lack the
integrity of such a structure. Myplace group forums consist only of
Topics, postings and replies. Thus the forums are disorganized and
difficult to maintain the organized structure that allows one to find
the topic of interest. The MySpace Music Group has been structured to
compensate for the deficiencies of a normal forum structure. It is
therefore requested that you take note of the following requested
format for inputting your information into the forum.
